Let's talk a little bit about what I need to do once I find the job that I want. The first thing is to thoroughly get yourself acquainted with the company. Make sure that you know everything and anything there is o know about that organization. This could include researching on the web, the company’s website. Looking at their financials, if their public company looking in their annual report. Very good to find information is through the media, so you can go to various sources on the web and see what recent articles and what press releases have been out there's, on the specific company or the organization that you're working for. And really know everything there is to know about the direction that the company is going in ,what's recently happen and what's going on now. This is going to be a foundation for your interview as well,. The next things you really want to find out about is to make sure, once again as I've mentioned before that you definitely hook up with somebody who works inside that organization. You want to find out what's really going on. What's the culture, what are the people like, is it a team oriented organization? Are people more individual contributors? What's the communication like there? Does things just happen or is there a little bit of warning beforehand, are there discussions, is there a feedback cycle? Is the communication written, is it through emails? Do people really, really connect and then, you look what's good for you, do you want to wok in an organization that prioritizes it's employees? Do you want to work in an organization that’s cutting edge in technology and that’s what very important to you. It's always a match of your passions, your interests, your skills, your knowledge, talents, and abilities and the right organization. And where they're going to. In addition, if you have some things that are extremely important to you regarding work- life balance, which appears to be quite a number of us nowadays, you want to find out if there's flexibility. Do you they have the ability to work from home? Is there telecommuting? Is there a virtual work environment? And that will help you also.
