Both cocaine trafficking and mail theft are federal felony offenses. A woman who investigators brought into federal court on Tuesday committed both crimes, according to prosecutors, who say she carried out the misdeeds through her job as a postal service letter carrier. Christine Nunez, 30, stood before Judge Joseph Dickson in a courtroom in Newark, accused of being the linchpin in a three-way drug trafficking operation that moved cocaine from Puerto Rico to New Jersey.
