Ken: Here on Dolans.com and our international radio show, we don’t talk a lot about politics. Since there is hot air going around to keep the Washington above the Washington balloon aloft for the next hundred years. But Daria and I were talking at the breakfast the other day and we said, “What would we like to see during, from a money standpoint, economy standpoint, what would you like to see during year one from Obama.” And we shared a few things so let’s talk to our Dolans.com family. Daria: You of sort of put the first one down so you go with it. Ken: So, what do you think? Daria: It’s your opinion. Ken: Open up the White House, take down the barriers. Let’s open up the White House in that area of Washington and this is sort of physical stuff but this is in my head. Take down the barriers to the White House. Let’s allow access to our house and let’s also gather around and let’s get back together again as one government not like 14 hours. Is that your key? Daria: No, but I think it very dangerous on this day and age if nonetheless but that’s not high on my priority list. I think what I’d like to do is let’s seek with the government. A lot of these little deals get cut on the backroom, voted on and never comes to see the light of day until something happens. Ken: Yeah. Another thing we’d like to see is in any presidential candidate, we wish Barack Obama the best. There’s a very different kind of mindset from talking to voters, there where the votes are to become a real president, the real leader. And so we’re hoping that he expands his vision to important goals such as infrastructure, a horrible mess. Haven’t heard much about it? Education, we’re hanging a little bit more about it. Healthcare, hearing a lot but expand your vision. Go from the appealing to voters to the vision for America because it’s a different monitor Daria: But as you expand that vision, do not try and be dictated to by one political philosophy because there in will lie problems going forward. Ken: Be open to know. That’s a good point alright. Be open to new ideas. Also unless, you’re going to laugh at one personal romance they’ll make some enemies. Daria: No, this is not laughing matter. Ken: They’ll make some enemies, get rid of the TSA. Daria: Start over Ken: The transportation security. Daria: We need to feel safer not inconvenient and if I hear one more person on the security line who travels once a year say, “Oh I don’t mind because it makes me feel safer and going to deck you.” You try going through those lines all the time and you got some idiot in front of you that doesn’t know the procedures and even when they do know the procedures have stupid arbitrary decisions made by people wearing badges. Fix it. It’s a must. Ken: Start the TSA. Start from scratch all over again and now that we’re mention all the things going on allegedly and other with the Jefferson hiding money in the refrigerator allegedly at the politician, I say put President Obama. Put all politicians in America on notice. There are some very good ones. There are some very good politicians who care. There are those who don’t. Put them all on notice. If you don’t represent your constituency one in them in the country in a more macro sense, much better than we’re saying lately then you got to got to jail, period, end of discussion. Daria: One strike and you’re out and regarding the politician class because we place our trust on them and if we can’t trust them even one time that ought to be jailable offense on our opinion. And since we need money like we can’t believe in this country. Ken: And it’s getting worst Daria: And the federal resource seems nothing more than to keep turning on printing press with nothing on the bucket, creating the potential bad inflation down the road. Cut some of these government agencies that just aren’t necessary. Ken: Jimmy Carter promised that two door about the few years ago that we’re going to make the government smaller. Daria: They’ve all promised it Ken: The area is across his fight. Daria: They’ve all promised it. We’ve listened to it for how many years ever since I can first vote for a president. We were going to shrink the government. We’ve done nothing but grow it and we’ve grow it with the bunch of the agencies that don’t even work. Ken: We wish you the very best, President-elect Obama. We wish you the very best for at least of the first year and certainly for the four years. There’s just some funds.
