The struggling Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia is cutting 4,000 more jobs at plants in Finland, Hungary and Mexico as it seeks to lower costs by moving smartphone assembly work to Asia. The latest cuts represent 8 percent of the phone business workforce and bring the total number of planned job cuts to 30 thousand since Stephen Elop took over as CEO in September 2010. The company says the cuts will take place in phases throughout the year.
