The group felt Romney was organized and clear, but that he made vanilla points on education, energy and the middle class that anyone could agree with. Romney started with real empathy, looked very presidential, but his 'those children' comment about special needs kid demonstarted a 'frightening lack of empathy.' Obama's point about a lack of regulation resonated, he did and effective job of reminding us what got us into the mess with banks.
